I Evenmore my father knowes I love mini milage runs so we are going from SFO-DFW-PVR as opposed to non-stop on AA.

Does AA go NS to PVR from SFO? AFAIK - you have to change in ORD or DFW to PVR to be on AA.

I am routed from SFO-DFW-PVR.

I own a condo at Paradise Village, and have been visiting the place since 1995.

It's a great spot, however, it is about 30 minutes from downtown PV; so be prepared for a decent ride into the city. You can cab it or drive; be warned that parking in PV is a challenge, so sometimes it's worth it to leave the car at home and take a cab (especially if alcohol is involved ;) ).

If you do a search in the "Mexico" forum, there are a few threads with great PV tips -- that'll be worthwhile.

Some immediate recommendations:

-- ATV tour with a tequila factory visit
-- Snorkel Trip (book through vallartaadventure.com)
-- Restaurants: Portobello (marina), Mark's (Bucerias), Dugarel (Bucerias; oceanfront seafood place), Cilantro's (downtown, gourmet Mexican), El Set (beyond downtown, on a cliff -- amazing views)
