Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Anyone else prefers old style Raffles class seats?

I just arrived in Seoul (currently in KE lounge) on SQ 882 on a 747 Megatop. I was in Raffles Class (upper deck) and slept like a baby for almost 6 hours. (yes, skipped the meal and just had one OJ before landing) Actually, I slept better than I have ever slept on a SQ 777ER Spacebed.
This is very similar to my experience on KLM, where I (and many others) prefer the old-fashioned World business class seats to the new style almost-flat beds.

I have a very limited experience on the spacebed but I am not a big fan of it. I do like some other flatbeds though. Maybe I did not get it right the only time I was in a spacebed, but I could not get comfortable and it felt too small for me.
... and it felt too small for me.
Felt too small? :D
Hmm wait till you try TG new C, or that BA C, or CX new sliding C. ;) Perhaps you meant too short?

They give you a "mattress" of sorts, plus a duvet-style blanket - nothing better for me! ^
SQ spacebeds...sliding all the time....
However, never flown VS/BA...

OP is not talking about Spacebeds. He flew 9V-SMT (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=582467&highlight=SMT).

He is asking who prefers the older seats. I guess my reply was meant to say that I too may prefer the older seats. Though I only had 2 flights in J on SQ (not counting one 11 years ago on an A310) and have experienced spacebeds only once on SQ11 and the older seats once on a 777 serving SIN-BKK. Thus my experience is too limited to make a fair comparison.
One thing I can say for sure is that I do prefer the skysuite to the regional F seats! :D
