Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - Etihad Guest - Multiple Reward Opportunities! Many More MULTIPLE ERRORS!!

There has been a lot of hype in the Media about Etihad's Guest Frequent Flyer Program - many redemption opportunities, no blackouts, blah blah blah.

Has anyone out there actually been to there website. For a supposed new and upcoming FFP, they have seem to have more errors than rewards:

1) www.etihadguest.com NOT WORKING!
2) New website is constantly going down
3) Mileage calculator still showing inaccurate figures 2 weeks after launch. No email communication from Etihad mentioning this
4) Constant changes and different mileage showing for their 'OpenSeat' rewards
5) No welcome email communication - which is generally standard across all FFP programs
6) Unhelpful Contact Centre
Plus Many More

Is anyone else experiencing this at the moment, or is it just me?

As this really doesn't have anything to do with the "latest frequent flyer program buzz" I'm going to move it over to "Other Middle east and Africa" programs.

The site is brand new and was put up within the month... some bugs can be expected. The most annoying bug for me is that the site is showing all flight in/out of Toronto as "sold out"

title made me think they were giving away high value awards by mistake or something :D

oh well.

Seriously, though - I think we all expect a new web site (which was launched at the same time as the new programme) would have a few 'glitches'. From what I can see, it's a lot more stable now.

By the way, it's not just "Media Hype".......there are a lot of innovative features to this loyalty programme.......I have certainly joined - and I'm looking forward to my first 'reward' !
