Hilton HHonors - Doubletree Castle Hotel — Orlando Trip Reports and Reviews

This hotel is a dump! My wife and I was supposed to stay there last Christmas and when we checked in, of course, we got our chocolate chip cookies. We went to our room and it was dark and drab,but the price was right so we were willing to put up with it. After quick showers, we hit the streets,but left our cookies in the room. When we returned later that evening, the room was overrun with roaches and ants, having a feast on those cookies. Needless to say, we repacked our things and checked out. When we went to the front desk to check out, the woman said to me "what did you expect if you left food out!?" I told her I had stayed in hundreds of hotels and left food out and never saw ants and roaches crawling all over the place. Plus, they had supplied the food!

Hopefully,they've exterminated since then. But, even so, I thought the place needed a face lift and wouldn't stay there again.
