Hilton HHonors - HI Should Get More Consistent With Bath Amenities

Now that the TSA is doing its liquid-gel thing (and I found out the hard way that includes foam shaving cream and mousse), it's more important than ever for hotels to come through with the stuff we need.
My experience at dozens of HI properties has been that the selection of what's in the bathroom varies widely. Bad time for that.
Case in point, at the HI Phoenix Airport-North, there was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash and shower gel.
However, this morning at the HI in North Little Rock, there was only shampoo and lotion.
I realize we're talking about franchisees here, but this is where Hilton needs to step up to ensure guests who didn't check bags have access to amenities they normally have without having to schlep out to a Walgreen's and pay extortionate prices for a travel-size bottle.
Shower gel I could do without. The rest should be there regularly. For what we pay it's not too much to ask.

There are a lot of times where, while wasteful, buying the full size bottle, rather than the travel size, is the better option, price-wise. If something you need isn't in the room, inquire at the front desk, as most times, they have just about everything you could need, including shaving cream.

Don’t really care for the new Crabtree/Evelyn line of bath products; too “perfumey”....enjoyed the Neutrogena brand, clean scent, not so feminine. Some Hilton brand properties still carry, but I think Hilton Hotels have eliminated.

Crabtree / Evelyn is fine .. and one advantage of it is that it is light, and foams really really easily. Some others require quite a lot of water to wash them off, they're so sticky and foam real less, or still others give me a bad case of dry skin (some stuff called "Red Earth" that I got at a Holiday Inn near the melbourne airport for example).

What I really really love is the toiletries at the Le Meridien in Hong Kong's Cyberport .. french soap - with a distinctively male fragrance - in tiny square green plastic containers. With one of the real big designer names on the label.
