I asked at the desk for a late check-out tomorrow.
They advised that if I called in the morning, they may be able to extend to 12:30 to 1pm. The normal check out is noon.
This was without looking at the hotel load for tomorrow.
Am I confused? I had thought that a late check out was a benefit of Diamond, even though I seldom use it.

It's a stated benefit for Starwood (4pm) but I am unaware of it being stated for Hilton.

I've had the same answer several times--"We might be able to extend it to 12:30-1PM.
Gee, thanks. Don't do me any favors.

I guess I must have been thinking of SPG.
Not a good thing at Hilton. :td:

They should have been able to grant that request. If they did not, call the HHonors desk and let them know. Ask for some HHonors points.

While this is one of my favorite Philly Hilton properties....I have always had to pay for a late check out. Typically they would give me till like 6 or 7pm for an extra $50. Probably the number one thing I wish Hilton would strengthen in the benefits as I always get the "we can give you an extra 30 minutes" speach.

I have asked for late checkouts at the Doubletree on Broad. On board occasions, I was given a 2 p.m. checkout without a problem.
