Other Credit Card Programs - Duplicate cards from Chase

So my wife gat a new Marriott Rewards card, issued by Chase. it arrived last week or so. Today, she got another card from them. Same account number and everything.

A member of my BA household account got a card a month or so ago. This week, another one arrived. Same account. This card is also issued by Chase.

I don't mind the extra cards, I can just cut them or toss them. I'd like both signup bonuses, though. :)

Is this typical with Chase?

I got three UA MP cards when I first signed up. One without my MP number and the two with.

I once had a browser auto-fill feature go AWOL and fill in my first and last name in one of the "second user" fields, so I received 2 cards with my name at once (presumably the one with the MP# was the primary and the one without was the "second user").

Last year I applied for the BA card from chase. I received the card about a week later. About two weeks later I received an identical envelope with the same card. The only difference was that the second card had the BAEC number on the front. Two months ago Mrs NWA747SNN recieved the same. My UA chase card came with the MP number.
