Has anyone stayed @ the Doubletree in Burlington, VT lately and can you please provide your impression of the hotel?

Its one of the best properties in the area. Recently renovated, clean, spacious quiet rooms. I think they all may be suites in the Embassy Suites mold. The pool area was excellent (especially for my kids), and the restaurant was quite good.

For Burlington, this is about as good as it gets.

I was there less than an year ago (last foliage). I suggest you to go there. What can I add ?

The top floor rooms are quite good with their tall ceiling/roof.
Very good fish resturant nearby (they share the parking lot).

I tried also two Fairfield Inns (one is just on the other side of the highway)and they were really of a lower level.

Mind, you are NOT in downtown Burlington, so you need a car to go and have a drink in Church Street or at Nectar's in Main Street.

I really like this Doubletree. The staff is very friendly. If you like walking there are things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel (shopping, some restaurants, etc.).
