Are there any VIP Benefits for staying at a Hilton Suites?

I stayed one night at the Hilton Suites in Oakbrook Terrace, IL this past weekend. Great stay, big one bedroom suite...biggest bathroom I've seen at a Hilton (separate tub and shower). As mentioned in previous posts, the Hilton Suites brand seems to cross over with the ES brand (two room suites, pool, ex room, breakfast buffet, etc.)

I am wondering if VIPs are supposed to receive any benefits at this sub-brand. I certainly didn't get anything (no free water, snacks , fruit, upgrade, etc.). Hilton Suites isn't listed on the MY WAY preference site nor are they listed as a category. I sent an email to the diamond desk asking this very same question....waiting to hear back.

I am assuming since they are such a small brand that VIPs shouldn't expect anything.

I never got anything there in dozens of stays. For that particular HS I only will even consider it Sunday to Thursday because of weekenders for Drury Lane. I have found out that there are Diamond benefits at that hotel like access to a nice health club, but you have to know to ask. I now use the Doubletree Suites in Downers Grove instead. Not the big bathroom like at HS in Oakbrook, which I also like, but the Diamond benefits and better treatment.

I stayed at the Hilton Suites Anaheim. In addition to free breakfast, I got free water and softdrinks from the bar during my stay. I did ask for these and they were more than accomodating.

DD responded to my email inquiry stating that the Hilton Suites falls under the Hilton brand and that whatever VIP benefits you select for Hiltons will be the same for the Hilton Suites.

Since I hadn't received anything at the Hilton Suites Oakbrook Terrace, the Diamond Desk gave me 1000 HH pts instead.

Next time I will make sure I get my VIP benefits.
