Had the pleasure of going to Europe for two weeks, arriving home Sunday. Stayed with friends for a lot of the time, but had a chance to stay in 3 hilton hotels, all on points. As a diamond, this was my experience:
1. Hilton Dublin Airport
- Upgrade to highest floor, king room. Two little bottles of merlot and some candies. Free breakfast. Very friendy staff, very new/modern hotel, everything very clean. ~1.5 euro bus trip(each way) to city center takes about 20 minutes. Very convenient airport location. You actually drive by this hotel on the way to the airport from the other Hilton.
2. Hilton Vienna Danube
- Booked it before June 1 when it was a category 1 - 10,000 points a night. Total of 20,000 points for two nights. Upgraded to 2-double, top floor, river view room. Wanted king, but unavailable, and preferred top floor+river view. Older hotel, but clean. Currently retrofitting sprinklers into the cafe on ground level so closed. Received bottle of sparkling white wine that they sell for ~50 euro on checkin, with some mozart candies, and free breakfast buffet (~17 euro/pp)for me and my girlfriend for both days of the sty. Again, very friendly service. Awesome view of a not very pretty river+barges, but it is what I asked for. Free shuttle to city center every hour.
3. Conrad Dublin
- Cat 6. Very pretty hotel. VERY good location, ~10 minute walk to the heart of Dublin, if you stop to look at things. Free breakfast certs+ bottle of merlot at checkin, some nice bottles of water at turndown. Again, top floor king room.
