I am flying from JFK on Delta in a few days. I will be checking my rollaboard that contains my toothpaste and stuff. But I was wondering something about the security check when entering Terminal 3 at JFK. As I recall, all bags (checked and carry on) are screened before you enter the terminal, and no further security check is made after that. Given the new rules, will just saying "Yes, I am going to check that bag" be sufficient, or will there be some other way for them to guarantee that I will be checking my bag?
