I'm looking to buy two tickets on Egyptair from LCA-CAI and back, they are pricing on Expedia at $300 each. This seems like a lot for a 1 hour flight. Does anyone know of a cheaper source for booking these, a travel agent perhaps?

Contacting Egyptair directly might be the best idea.

Calling Egyptair directly in Nicosia would be the best option. Phone number is +357-22559200. From what I remember, you get their best prices by paying cash.

BTW, must you fly Egyptair? Cyprus Airways (www.cyprusairways.com) also flies the route and I would recommend them over MS.

How's reliability of MS? The CY flight does leave CAI very early (0645) while the MS flight is at 1700. The MS flight might work better as we're planning to fly ABS-CAI-LCA on the same day.

Well, CY reliability is pretty good. I only flew MS once on the route but have a very bad experience: the day before they called me to announce a schedule change to 4 hours later. The same day, at the airport, they announced a further 2 hour delay. As I was going for just a weekend, you can see why I was not very happy. On board, I was also not very happy with safety procedures (safety video started running when we were already on our take-off roll and didn't finish till we were airborne). The state of their A320s also did not impress me.
