TG will be upping its Fuel Surcharge for the following routes wef 1 Sept 2006. As such, you may wish to issue your tickets by 31 Aug 2006 to avoid the increase:
* Bangkok – Singapore v.v. at USD 20 or approximately 800 Baht per flight coupon (from previously USD 15 or approximately 600 Baht per flight coupon).
* Bangkok – Malaysia v.v. (Kuala Lumpur and Penang) at USD 22 or approximately 880 Baht per flight coupon (from previously USD 14 or approximately 560 Baht per flight coupon).
Given that BKK - Malaysia is a much shorter route, the fuel surcharge is higher than BKK-SIN.. i wonder why....
