How does this work?? You have to book through Green Travel?
$350>$2650pp = pretty awesome as Gulf is one of the top carriers, and you can earn miles. Unless taxes and fees are huge...
Cost for UA/Emirates RTW seem good too.
Which FFPs lets you earn miles on Gulf flights other than AsiaMiles? Any?

The Green Travel website is an information resource. These tickets are generally sold through any established travel agency in Thailand. As they are Mastercard 2 for 1 promotion, there's the advantage of not having to pay the customary cc surcharge when dealing with an agency as opposed to dealing directly with the airline.

So maybe I can have AMEX PTS transfer me to PTS in Thailand. :D
The United-Emirates RTW actually seems pretty crazy. Need to try and find out what MPM is for it. :P

bit of a dumb question - is the CC surcharge applied when dealing with the agency or the airline direct?? Thanks.

The beauty of this deal (for Thailand) is that there should be no cc surcharge as you can only pay by Mastercard. I am pretty sure the airline is processing all the cc surcharges for the agencies.

I was told by my regular travel agent ... no surcharge. But I stand corrected, thecharge was processed by Global Union rather than Gulf Air.
I would have gone directly to the airline but for my being in Phuket at the time.
