Hertz - Fun collection 300, Magnum, Charger: Hemi or V-6?

I have a trip planned to ATL next weekend. I currently have an Lincoln LS reserved, but I noticed the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Magnum have suddenly become available as part of the fun collection at this location.

Does anybody of know if these are Hemis or V-6s? I'd love to rent one of these with the Hemi. But if these are all V-6 models, I'll stick with the LS.

I've gotten the:

300 - V6
Magnum - 5.7 Hemi
300C - 5.7 Hemi

More than likely you will get a Hemi but the V6 models do exist.

As one would expect, the Hemi gets terrible gas milage. But, I had my foot mashed to the floor a lot.

If I remember correctly, the 3.5L V6 models are classed in G (or maybe YG?), while the 5.7L Hemi models (usually with AWD) are classed under H. I've gotten the Hemi models a few times (I think I wrote a Ride Report on one), and they're pretty nice. ^

Interesting, all the 300C 5.7L and Magnum 5.7L models I've gotten have been H -- this is at DFW, SFO and MDW. I don't remember ever getting a 3.5L, but I've always been told they were G/YG.

Wouldn't be the first time there was a discrepancy though -- I still remember the good ol' days at SFO when the Zephyr was a YC... :D

The 300 3.5 V6 as an H is a bit of a stretch IMHO, had cloth and no sirius. Kinda had a Taurus feel to it. I reserved F so I didn't mind but would definitly not pay to UG.

I asked if it was a Hemi and he said yes. Walked out and no Hemi badge on the trunklid. Lesson here, when they hand you the keys look at the tag. Make sure you see either N or the 5.7 somewhere.

It appears that there is a good chance it will be a Hemi. I think I'll change my reservation and try my luck.
