Overall, I think it's a great release. I like how they incorporated search convenience like Opera. It doesn't have the lag that Opera has but then I'd like to see a "New Tab" button on top so I don't have to navigate thru the drop down menu everytime.

Just use Ctrl-T to open a new tab without using the drop down. You can also download a host of extensions that have that sort of functionality.

Sounds like you need Tab Mix Plus :)

To open a link (also works with bookmarks) in a new tab you can also (1) click on the link with the middle button of your mouse (2) right-click on the link, then select 'Open in a new tab' or (3) hold the 'Ctrl' key while clicking with the left button.
Note to (1) - for this to work, you would have to have this option enabled. Click 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Tabbed Browsing' -> click the 'Tab Focus' tab, then select 'Load middle-clicked in new tabs'.

I'd like to see better support for kerberos and NT authentication, esp across the Mac and Linux versions.
I cannot use Firefox at work b/c we use SharePoint for so much and it just doesnt authenticate well nor does it render properly.
On the mac side I have the same issues, but hey, thats a mac so I guess its what I'd expect.

Opera users know what I'm talking about. I want a button to click and it opens a new tab. I don't want to ctl+T or ctl+middle mouse button.

Add one. Right click on a toolbar, choose Customize..., then drag the "New Tab" button onto the toolbar of your choice.

Integrated SessionSaver support, especially since the author of the plugin is stopping development at the end of the month. On the bright side, it's already in 2.0 beta1. Also support for the keychain for passwd storage on the Mac as opposed to doing it's own thing (not in 2.0 beta 1).

2.0 beta1 renders much better on the Mac. Finally, I have ditched the steaming pile known as Safari.

How about, does not freeze when you start it up.
Previous versions did not do this.
The better they make it, the worse it gets.

I'll reiterate TabMixPlus. I have an Add Tab icon to the left of the tabs, and a close to the right. You can also put the icons on every tab, change the width of the tabs, make them size to fit the name of the tab, and a dozen other functions.
