I have a mobile phone with a WAP browser and I do not think this will work?
What are the best methods for this application?

I just used my WAP browser on my cell phone to access.
Use the WAP URL: http://www.flyertalk.com/wap/
You should then be able to log in.

I just don't understand why WM5's PIE isn't supported; it'll render a fairly complex web page, but it FT's WAP support doesn't like it. WAP's more or less a subset of HTML, so it doesn't make much sense to me.

I read somewhere that there's a registry hack that will let me change the user agent the browser sends. Guess I'll have to see if that works . . . but I'm not sure what I should change that to; any suggestions?

I did this once a few weeks ago with my BB 7100g. Never again.

I find Skweezer.com works better than the FT wap site

Related question. When you access FT wirelessly, there is a link to 'My Forums'. How do you add forums to this list? Can't find it anywhere.

Argh, more competition for the top spots in the Top WiPosters list. ;) It's a great tool to waste time at airports when I'm too lazy to bring or boot up the lappy. ^

Wirelessly? Usually using my iPAQ hx4700 either using WiFi or via Bluetooth, using my Nokia N70 as a BT modem (great when on a 3G network).

Everything is rendered in good old HTML. I don't bother with the WAP stuff as I don't find it particularly usable.

I'm sort of warming towards the whole UMPC thing at the moment but these devices have a fair way to evolve (either that or the first generation models end up selling at bargain basement prices) before I'd consider buying one.

I use my phone as a BT modem too, and I nealery always have my laptop with me.

But, like rar indeed said, sometimes you don't feel like booting it up, or it's in the bag in the trunk, etc.

So it's a pretty cool setup, even if it is a bit clumsy to type with the phone.

My first wireless post to answer this question...

I haven't checked the preferences from my desktop but in the wireless version, you can go to Flyertalk > My Prefs > Post Options and increase the number there from 1 up to 30. I just changed that and can confirm that it shows all 14 posts on one page.

Not sure how many more wireless posts I'll be doing though - the browser on my Nokia 6680 cuts off most of the pixels from the last line in the text box so this is testing my touch-T9 skills... Any suggestions on how to get it to show all the text I am typing?
