I remember that years back I received some letters at American Express offices when I was travelling abroad.

Is this service still available? Hence, can I have a letter sent to a US based Amexco office (e.g. to the New York City office)?

If this service still exists:
a) What do I need to write to the address field? Is it sufficiecnt if I just wirte "hold for Mr Lech"?
b) How muich time do I have to pick it up?

I believe it is called "Client Letter" and is available to Platinum and above. I'm guessing Amex knows about the service, so I would call them instead. :)

I used it at the AMEX office in Barcelona, Spain. It was something that had to be signed for, so I called the office in advance and they said no problem. I received a call when the package came in, and it was very easy.

It appears that people don't use this service very often, but it came in handy for a package that required a signature when I wasn't around.
