Budget Travel - Going to Hualian Taiwan from Philippines

Hi,

I'm planning to visit Hualian Taiwan this August to meet a business partner and for leisure. I would like to know from someone here who have been in the place to recommend me a budget hotel to stay. I will be stopping there for about a week.

Any tips would be a great help.

Nearby Taroko Gorge has a hostel or two,its a beautiful spot to stay

just contact taiwan tourism office on line or go to the desk when you arrive at cks there is loads to choose, most people just find a hotel when they get there
