Hi, before my question pops up, yes I read " No fare requests permitted - Read before posting! " and this is not a question regarding fares.
What I was wondering is if it was possible to travel from Europe to NZ completely on various LCC.
OR is is possible to travel around the world completely on LCC's?
Anyone know if its possible?
Cheers ^

Hey, what a fascinating proposition!
If it goes quiet on the Budget Travel Forum for the next few days I suspect it'll be because everybody is busy researching itineraries....
Someone on the Thorntree (Long Haul or Gay Year branch?) recently posted a LCC trip UK to Oz. I'll try to dig it up when I get home as for some reason the Thorntree is an Evil Website & I'm barred from here.

I have been thinking about the possibility of doing a RTW using LCC's but there are still a few gaps that have to be filled. When (and if) Oasis starts flying LGW to HKG that will make things much simpler.
As for what is available right now, and depending on exactly how you define LCC, here are some ideas;
Europe to Dubai on Aerlingus or Condor
Dubai to Mumbai on Air Arabia
Mumbai to Bangalore on Spice Jet or Kingfisher or by train
Bangalore to Singapore on JetStar
Singapore to Darwin on Tiger
Darwin to Sydney on VirginBlue or Jetstar
Sydney to New Zealand on VirginBlue or Jetstar
Whether this would result in much of a $$$ saving vs. buying a ticket on a mainline carrier is difficult to say, but it would certainly be an interesting trip.
