As travelers on tight schedules, we may not have time to tour the great art galleries or museums in every – or any — city we visit. But that doesn't mean we can't partake of some of the latest art and cultural offerings while on the road. Even as many airports scramble to make room for behemoth TSA-required machinery, space is being carved out for temporary and rotating exhibits featuring the work of local schoolchildren, local and nationally-renowned artists, and items on loan from major museums and private collections. So there's yet one more reason to show up early for your next flight or for dawdling a bit before rushing out to your hotel shuttle or rental car.
