I see that the UK versions of the RAZR have software that comes with them for MP3 download, picture conversion, etc. I just bought two RAZRs for Mrs. Redbeard and Miss Redbeard, but no software. Is this a US thing?

I use Verizon. lecter Jul 23, 06, 10:45 pm You're refering to Motorola Mobile Phone Tools? Usually you'll get it when buying a retail, unlocked version of the RAZR. It can be purchased separately...don't know about the US, but here there is a Motorola package containing a USB cable and that CD that costs about 10 USD. redbeard911 Jul 24, 06, 1:11 am You're refering to Motorola Mobile Phone Tools? Miss Redbeard found site selling the software only for $49. nako Jul 24, 06, 1:21 am My wife bought an unlocked RAZR on eBay, and it came with the software. The other three RAZRs we've purchased were locked and did not include the software, so I believe that including it with the phone is a locked/unlocked issue as noted above. Mike redburgundy Jul 27, 06, 11:43 pm Look on eBay for a usb cable for the RAZR that comes with Motorola OEM software on CD-ROM. nmenaker Jul 28, 06, 10:46 am any mini usb cable will work, if you have a digital camera that cable usually is a mini usb to usb cable. As for the software, a quick search on the web will yield the downloads.
