American Express Membership Rewards - FHR- The Metropolitan- London

I looked through the FHR thread and was unable to find anything on the Metropolitan in London, and Iw as wondering if anyone had stayed there or better off booked throught the FHR program. CTS gave me all of the listed amenities, but I was wondering if anyone had gotten more?

Last fall I was booked into the Metropolitan (not by Amex) and was upgraded to a Park King (I believe that it what it was called) - was supposed to stay 5 nights but checked in at 9pm and checked out the next morning by 9am - hated it - despite the upgrade the room was more like a hilton and although the staff was very nice the room looked old - stank of tobacco (despite being on a non-smoking floor) - That morning the manager offered to move me to another suite (supposedly better) but I decilned - Moved to the Lanesbourough down the street - infinately nicer IMHO

Perhaps you might let us all know the amenities FHR offer there?
