I booked flights on CathayPacific.com back in Feb for flights this week to Oz from London and back in J.
At the time of booking I requested seating for the four sectors.
I rang at a later point to confirm my AA number was on the booking and that the seat selections were mine.
I went to check in last night and the seat that I thought was mine was already allocated.
I rang CX in London today and they said that I was confirmed on the flight but had no seat assigned on any of the sectors. Also when I asked about my AA number I was told it wasn't in the system.
Has anyone else had issues like this with online bookings?
The emailed receipt I have has the seat requests and my AA number printed on it.
I can't work out why my seat requests were not honoured nor why my AA number disappeared from the booking.
Anyone have any clues?
How do I make sure I get the seats I want in the future?
