Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Oneworld awards

"This awards chart is applicable when you redeem roundtrip free flight awards "

Are you able to book a oneway itinerary eg SYD-AKL-SCL on QF/LA or must you return to your point of origin?

Several years ago I checked this out, and at that time (maybe 2003) the rules were roundtrip only -- with no open-jaw allowed between origin and destination. By contrast the same Oneworld award issued by AA does allow 1 open-jaw per award, and it can be between origin and destination (effectively making it a one-way award). So the question becomes "does Asiamiles allow an open-jaw"? FWIW, QF used to have a similar restriction of roundtrip only, and the rules changed in 2005 to allow one-way awards, so there is precedent for changes. How ironic that an award named after the alliance doesn't have the same rules throughout the alliance .... rather fractured Oneworld.
