...I fly CX F between NA and Asia and Europe and mostly J within the region when they don't have 3 class aircraft. CX's number one asset is the service - somehow every flight crew is warm and attentive with very personal service. I have always found the food terrific - particularly on long-hauls where they come back for seconds and thirds on the caviar at a time most airlines have gotten rid of this treat - even in the front of the plane. I generally order fruit plate special meals, but in F they always ask me if I want the regular meal and they never seem to run out of the choices. The F seats are great. Regional C Class seating is fine for the three hour flights and the food is good. I always find the service outstanding. My only problem I ever had was after arriving at 6am in HKG from the States in F out by the Pier lounges and having a 1.5 hour connection to China on China Eastern (whose lounge was back at the main terminal), the CX lounge staff refused me entry saying the lounge was for only departing pax - even though I am EXP Platinum on Oneworld AA. That said, I fly 6-8 sectors on CX a year, have been doing so for over 15 years, and they haven't been less than excellent yet.
