Does anyone have experience transferring/converting SAA Voyager miles to Hilton HHonors points?
How smooth - or bumpy - was the process? And how long did it actually take?
I did find this info buried deep in the Voyager online Member Guide (https://ww1.flysaa.com/voyager/Programme_Guide/content/spending/transfers.html):
Terms and Conditions for Hilton HHonors Conversion
A written request along with copy of ID or Passport, amount of Miles to be converted, Voyager number and Hhonors membership number must be faxed to Voyager (011) 978 1551.
Minimum of 5 000 Miles can be converted to HHonors.
Turnaround time 30 – 60 days. The ratio is 5,000 miles to 10,000 points, as listed on both the HHonors (http://hhonors.hilton.com/en/hhonors/rewards/exchange_1.jhtml) and Voyager (https://ww1.flysaa.com/voyager/Programme_Guide/content/spending/spending_frame.html) websites.
