Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Somebody else checked-in for me?

On my last flight CX889 YVR-HKG on 11/7, the ground agent told me that I have online checked-in. I was like... what? I never check-in online. BP's show that we were among the first to check-in. Agent said this is common as TA's have already checked in for us.

Is this true? Or is it a glitch in the system? :confused:

Well, I will be surprised (and feel annoyed) if the travel agent check in for me... How do they know that I really want to fly that day!!???

TAs will do no such thing. How would they have accessto your account info anyway?

CX is the one that does the check in for you... especially if they anticipate a full flight and want you to have the best seats possible.
