Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Is anyone at Cathay listening?

I was just wondering, as I've been reading lots of posts here and on cathaytalk about the decline in CX meals on F and J, if anyone at CX might be reading these posts and actually considering some improvements?
Does anyone know?

They are probably scratching their heads and wondering what the comments mean ... for F meals there has been zero decline in quality in the past year -- and most of the changes in the past 5 years were close to neutral. I haven't ever flown long-haul J (only regional J), but the regional J meals were perfectly fine (taste good and filling); I presume the long-haul J meals are better. Very puzzling. Maybe I'll fly J LAX-HKG just to see what all the fuss is about.

In terms of the entree, long haul J meals are the same as regional J. That's part of the problem....there is nothing special about J meals on CX. They aren't bad, just no wow factor.

Don't make this personal. Maybe you fly on their J too much!

If I want' "wow factor" in a meal, I go to a good restaurant, not an aluminium tube at 38'000 feet with minimal cooking facilities. I can never understand people who moan that the food on a plane (whatever class) is not up to the standard of the kind of places that Michael Winner dines at....

Just be grateful that you don't have to share a small part of one of those tubes with him!

Ouch!! A bit harsh?
I think it's fair to expect the top tier airlines to try to out-do each other on food. And (heresy on this board, I know!) I think SQ is way ahead on this one. And QF isn't far behind.
I recently flew F from HKG to SYD. My main course of ravioli was a huge serving of overcooked glop in a tomato sauce that tasted like it came out of a very cheap can. I hardly touched it and it was removed without even a raised eyebrow or the offer of another dish. If I had known that CX takes so little care with the F food I would have indeed eaten in a restaurant - or gorged myself on the delicious spread (prawn and mango salad, yummm!!) in the F lounge. As it was I delicately refrained. Apparently I was an idiot to expect the same standard in flight. The meal on the LHR/HKG leg wasn't nearly as bad but it was disappointingly sub par.
So lump me with the whingers if you like but I still believe it does Cathay no favours to serve lousy, or even ordinary, food in F. And before all you die-hard CX fans get excited, caviar and salmon is not the beginning and end of culinary sophistication. :p

I don't know about here but I do know that there are a few Cathay personnel and some cx.com guys who post and read on CT. Some senior management in HKG, SFO and YVR are aware of CT and FT's existence though I am not sure if they have browsed the pages.
But as there has already been 2 threads running on what basically is the same ie Talk on Food in J and F class, I am going to close this thread.
Continue your discussions on J food HERE and on F food HERE
Thank you
