Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - M&M Japan - Awards not online bookable?

I am new to M&M. Now there are enough miles in my account for an award. When I want to log in to my account, it is not possible to book the award ticket online. Why is this? Is that the standard for Japanese customers? How can I book the ticket? Is there another Japanese M&M customer in this forum?

Either the system is playing up for your or you are selecting dates on which award seats are not available. Or you are selecting a city in Japan that does not have LH, OS, LX or LO service. I have no trouble doing a dummy booking.

When do you want go, from where to where, for how many persons, which class?

I'm flying out to japan (NRT) on friday on an (online booked) award tix so it is possible (as every other LH destination).

The problem is not that a specific citiy is not bookable, the problem is that there is no booking mask for award tickets at all :confused: All I can do online is checking existing bookings or upgrade them.

When I made a German phantasie address, there appeared a completely other site after I logged in to www.miles-and-more.com

I usually log on at www.lufthansa.com here:
https://www.lufthansa.com/online/portal/lh/de/my_lufthansa/my_profile?command=indirectLogin&action=login&tl=1&l=en
There you enter your log-on details and you can immediately select "take me to award booking".

That should work whatever your address.
