Virgin Atlantic Flying Club - OLCI at T:-23:59...

...and I only got about 40 Y seats to choose from on a LGW 744 :confused:

My TA told me this would be the first opportunity to reserve seats but the seatmap suggests otherwise - were they wrong? We're travelling with Virgin Holidays - it's for VS033 to ANU tomorrow.

Hi,

VS does preallocate a certain number of seats in all cabins ( I think 60% in Y) so once that number is reached no more can be allocated until OLCI opens up at the airport.

You should have asked your TA to put in a seating request to VS or phone up Virgin Holidays/VS directly ( of course when you booked the seating allocation might have been met).

I would grab your preferred seats at OLCI now and ask at check in if anything better is available.
