Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Status of new "Regional Biz Class" seats

Anyone know the latest status on the reconfig program? Website says 5 a/c have been completed, but I recall the site has said this for several years!

I've been on quite a few regional flights where the old seats still remain. I don't know if this is a conscious decision to postpone rollout since not many people like the new seats, or whether they just haven't been able to take the older aircraft out of service.

From what I understand it that the reconfig programme is scrapped, however, new builds are to be delivered with the NRBC seats. Cathay will then retrofit the entire fleet when a new RBC seat is found, which is most likely after the new FC and new longhaul BC seats are rolled out.

But, I could be wrong. I would be rather pleased if they've installed a NNRBC on B-HNQ, which is to be delivered in a fortnight's time.

Given the small number of a/c with the NRBC, I too assumed that they are only avail on newly delivered a/c. CX is already talking about a NNRBC, as well as new FC and BC seats???
