France - Does anyone have experience Paris Airport Service shuttle?
They charge 65 euros for pickup at customs and a private car to the city, which seems a civilised way to travel for our honeymoon with plenty of luggage.
Has anyone used this company before? What was your experience?

Exactly which Paris airport shuttle service is this?
Please post us the link.
BTW, I have had problems with all services EXCEPT www.shuttair.com which was perfect!
Sorry, should have posted that str8 away. It's this one:
http://www.paris-airport-shuttle.com/
But the one you mentioned is only E60 (as opposed to E70 for other), however the website doesn't specifically mention that it is per car, not per person, but considering the E70 on the other website I would assume this.
Did you use their shuttle service or the private pickup?
Thanks for your help.

Please check out the Tripadvisor Paris Forum and do a search there. While a regular taxi works fine for us (just use the ones you line up for--the ones that come up to you will rip you off) that site has numerous horror stories which will tell you which to watch out for.

FWIW, that's the worst log-on name I've heard yet!

FWIW, if your plane crashed, you would want me as your lawyer. The folks at the EXP desk notice it too, and think it's bad until I tell them that I represented AA in the past. ;)

OK, I've hosed by the silver van operator and the dark blue one, too.
www.shuttair.com was well worth the money for a private van for the 4 of us. On arrival, we showered at the UA RCC/Arrivals lounge and took our time. When we finally entered the country, there stood our driver waiting patiently with our name on a sign.
One van was like new, the other was not new. Neither driver really spoke any English. But since we'd been hosed by the other companies that had English speaking drivers, we did not care. The return ride came 20-30 minutes EARLY!!! What a treat! (Early beats late by miles!)
The only disadvantage of this is that you must prepay through the website. A confirmation email will be emailed within a day. Print out the confirmations to show the driver so that he understands that it really is prepaid.
BTW, unlike most others, this was one service where I really WANTED to tip the driver.
Oh, since there are only 2 of you, a taxi would be cheaper and could haul your bags, too. Just get in line and do NOT use a taxi hawker if you want to avoid overpaying.
Enjoy Paris!
Thanks roberto99, this is very helpful. We arrive late-ish on a Tuesday evening. Would there be any chance of not getting a taxi fairly quickly? If there really is no advantage to taking the shuttle for two people, we'd get a taxi. It's minimal hassle that is of greatest concern to us, but paying extra when it's unnecessary is not our hobby either.

You should have no trouble what so ever. I assume you are talking about CDG? Even though a shuttle can work out fine I dont think it is worth the risk considering what could go wrong. Who wants to be stuck at the airport waiting for a pre-paid shuttle that never shows.

Amen.
Paris shuttle stories are like guys talking about their motorcycles. It all sounds great until you hear about the crash.

Usually I call Taxis G7 and ask them to pick me up at the Sheraton CDG. The additional pick up fare is usually small, as many Taxis G7 are in line at CDG (2 hours is the usual wait time for a taxi). And the main benefit is that I am sure I can go anywhere in the Paris region and that I can pay by credit card.
