MilesBuzz! - getting credit for an unused UA travel cert

i have two UA travel certs rec'd when i became a united mileage plus cardmember for travel valid through 2-27-02 that i won't be using.

i read somewhere that i can sign these and mail them into united and they will give me miles for these unused certs.

is this true? and if so, does anyone know how i submit them for credit?

You'd have a better chance of a useful and informed answer if you asked this question in the United forum. Everyone who cares about UA is in that one. Many of them aren't in this, but a lot of folks who don't care about UA are.
