bmi diamond club - BMI business lounge access

Hey Folks
Just bought an invatation for a BMI lounge off ebay for £10 (the have one in belfast, way hey!!) and was wondering if someone could tell me the opening hours for the lounges in belfast city and LHR?

Has anyone used them before, any reviews?! ^

Dont get too excited. Better range of magazines to steal at LHR though. Make sure you drink as much as possible in the lounge to get full value, though be aware there is no food at all.

Well I guess you got a better deal then the person who will win the auction which is still on there, with 5 days to go and already up to £16…

You did pay £12 though, not £10 considering you have postage to pay.

Pinch as many magazines as you can so you can resell them on ebay to recoup your costs. Take a shower - but bring your own shampoo and soap. Drink everything and eat all the biscuits you can (they're low fat).

Ask the staff if you can kindly use their telephone to make an urgent call - pretend you've lost your mobile - and make a long-distance international call for free.

well p&p isn't really a concern to me as long as it's below £5!

Take a shower - but bring your own shampoo and soap. I hadn't realised there was a shower in the T1 lounge - is this in the upstairs (diamond club part) of the T1 domestic lounge or in a different part of LHR?

Last time I was in the LHR domestic, I was told point blank by the indifferent staff that they didn't have a shower facility (yeah, like they don't have people connecting from long haul flights).

Does Amex Platinum still get you in the domestic BMI lounge when you are travelling on a BMI flight?

we arrived back from SIN on Fri before a GLA connection and if there's a shower then the staff knew nothing about it and we couldn't find it either! worse still, only hot air dryers in the loos so no towels to wash/dry faces with.

bmi should look at improving the lounge facilities for those of us who return from long o/s flights before a domestic connection - the transfer from T3 to T1 and then the walk to the lounge alone is enough to justify a shower!

LHR Domestic doesn't have any showers. LHR Int'l apparently has one, but I've never used it (O&D).

Noticed in Dublin last week that there was no food snacks, is this new, have they phased out food completely from lounge just like on board flights, I know they say that they have food for sale but on Dub-LHR, hey never have any to sell.

LHR Intl shower is fiine. Never seen anyone use it, though.
