I flew this week:

JFK-SFO-NGO-TPE-NRT (UA)

NRT-LAX (SQ). All flights in F.

At JFK, I used the UA First Class Lounge adjacent to the RCC. It was early am, and the lounge had plentiful packaged as well as fresh/ cold snacks. The atmosphere was quite, and I aprreciated the chance to relax before the flight.

At SFO, I used the UA International FC lounge. The decor is much nicer than that at JFK. Food choices included packaged snacks, noodles, sandwiches, chocolates, and chips.

Both the JFK and SFO lounges required paid memberships to access WIFI.

At NGO, I used the small *A lounge. The F section was just a few chairs, and was a but small. I spent most of the time in hte business section. Snacks were plentiful, but mostly packaged.

At TPE, I used the SQ First class lounge. This was very nicely appointed, and food included hot options (stews, noodles, and chicken).

NRT: I hopped from lounge to lounge. With my AA and CO Club memberships, I went into each. Both were rather plain and aged. Not much different than their US based clubs. The NH F lounge, on the other hand, was a sight to behold. Zen in every way. As soon as I was seated, an attendent came by with a hot towel. They offered drinks and snacks. There was a made to order noodle bar, as well as other hot items.

I also went to the UA F lounge where I took a wonderful shower. Food was meager. Others rave about the beer machine, but I couldn't have cared less as I hate the taste of beer!

Oh, the flights were all great!

Nice report. For the NH lounge at NRT, it is their primary hub airport, whereas it is not for CO or AA. Doesnt explain it all away, but something to consider.

True.... but before NH moved to the new wing, their lounge and the amenities were meager in comparison to NW and AA!
