I believe the double-pin in Y, double-pin + third pin for noise reduction headsets in J.

Your remark about 'tubes' reminds me of the eighties, when, indeed if you turned up the volume you could hear the music without headphones.
I wouldn't say "good old days" but fun nonetheless!
