I am going to MAN in November and have a lot of Hertz points accrued. And I want to know if they can be used to rent a car un the UK. Anyone done that?

For international rentals, you get airmiles in the programme of your choice. I do all my biz travel inside the US and vacations outside, so I've got some insane amount of points (11K or so) plus a ton of free day coupons just sitting there. So, as a silent protest I've booked my next vacation car in Europe on Sixt. They seem to have better cars anyways. I was once, however, able to use a $100 voucher that I was given for a bad car experience from Hertz in the US at the rental counter in Corsica. It took them a little bit to process is, but I didn't get any pushback. |
