Hilton HHonors - Hilton Gurgaon (Delhi, India)

I am currently at the above hotel. I arrived in India for the first time, and was somewhat shocked at the state of the roads, buildings and environments, however pulling up to the Hilton was like arriving at an Oasis in the dessert. The customer services is amazing, the building beautiful, the rooms very nice, Cilantro the Western Restaurant has great food, and is very reasonable. The car service is excellent. Even though I am a diamond I was only upgraded from a superior to deluxe room, I can't imagine that makes much difference. The swimming pool is heavenly. Only a couple of complaints, as most of the rooms are on one floor, my room is a very very long walk from the lobby, so ask for a room near the entrance, avoid anything in the 310s-330s. Also the walk from the room to the lobby is not all indoors, so the heat in the middle can be quite stifling. I would recommend this hotel 100%, and I believe despite not getting massive upgrades etc, that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. A convenience store would also be nice however!!

Stayed here for a day last week. The hotel is great the only dissapointment being the really small rooms...or maybe I was comparing them with the executive suite upgrade at the Hilton Mumbai. The rooms are about 36 sq meters but felt very cramped and could be better aligned. The service is impeccable, something the Oberoi hotels who own the propoerty have always done well. The Cilantro food is excellent though I am not sure about the value for money. We had dinner with friends and they even charged buffet for 3 year olds. Most places we stay in tend to waive this, though I do realise there is fod cost of some sort to contend with.

Does this hotel have an exec. lounge? and if it does are Diamond allowed entry?/What are the rules for HH entry?

Dependant on traffic, betwen 30 minutes to an hour. The distance is not that much but the roads are a mess as a new highway is being built. On the Hilton site the rates have been around the $ 200-220 range.
