Hilton HHonors - Double dipping/my way on award stay?

I am on an award stay at Hilton Zurich.

Right now I choose the points plus the 500 mile option.

I assume I will not get miles on an award stay, correct?

If not, should I change my earning to the 10 plus 5 bonus per dollar with no miles to maximize points on my incidental charges?

No miles on award stays. The best option (as you have noted already) is the 5 bonus points per dollar.
