I finally got a response two weeks after I got an acknowledgement that within 72 hours I would hear from tech support at the new improved website about how to book a business seat on a code share to NRT (per Orbitz it was cheaper than UA direct). At least I got a response. That's better than last winter when silience was the response.
The response says business seats are available on transatlantic flights only.
On my last Asian trip in the upper deck of a 747, I guess I was imagining was business. :D
I am beginning to think Tempe bit off more than they could chew with taking over US.
As I have told my clients when buying a business. Do not change anything for the first 3-6 months as you evaluate personnel and processes--not everything needs to be changed. Forget your preconceived notions. Tempe hasn't learned that. It ain't a regional airline anymore and has to accept that fact and step up to the plate-- not everything is good the Tempe way.
And then as a CP I also don't have my new card yet. Old US sent out cards in order of status. Tempe apparently did not, so a trip over July 4th is not on US-- it's a small protest to not having a new CP card-- since March I have been trying to get my TA upgrade certificates to no avail! :td:
