Mexico - Looking for November Flight to Mazatlan from Albany NY

Not sure if this is the right forum to put this in, if not someone let me know.
We are going to Mazatlan in Novemer on a timeshare exchange. Have been looking for flights but have two problems 1)It seems hard to find flights that can get us there the same day that we leave and 2) those that I have found are in the $750-$800 range. I have tried the services that I know about Expedia, Travelocity, Orbits, but not having much luck.
Any suggestions that anyone can give on where else to look would be appreciated.

I checked CO and its possible to make it there on the same day. Flights from IAH to MZT are fairly cheap. Hope this helps.
