All Nippon Airways Mileage Club - KIX airport hotel and ANA Economy Seating

I am traveling UA 877 arriving at KIX around 4 pm, then switch to NH 159 to PEK next day.

Is there any airport hotel near KIX? :confused: I don't want to waste time going to downtown Osaka.

Also, if I say I am a *A Gold, will NH assign me a good Y seat? :confused: At this point, KIX-PEK is 767 and I have 16 B. It seems that the entire first row in Y (row 15) is blocked by NH and I want 15 B.

My son is also on the same itinerary but has BOS-ORD-KIX on first class (UA) and KIX-PEK on Club ANA, all award travel. I managed to get him 3J for UA 777 and 1D on NH 767. :)

Call them, tell them you are star gold and try to get 15 H/K side the A/B side will be blocked.

Just called ANA.

I was told, row 15 is blocked upon check-in. At this point nobody is occupying row 15. Even as a *A Gold, I can't have any seat in row 15 but can request it during check-in at KIX. :(

There's the Nikko (http://www.nikkokix.com/11_english/e-index.shtml) (expensive) and the Ramada (http://www.ramada.com/Ramada/control/Booking/property_info?propertyId=15331&brandInfo=RA) (cheaper).

Row 15 is blocked for infant. With high probability, row 15-19 are noisy.
