Thanks OP. Just booked two ORY-BUD tickets for 100euro. About a week ago they would have cost 150euro, so it's more like 33% off but I'm not one to complain. Anyone travelled with them before? Am only familiar with Germanwings (good) and Ryanair (just ok) among the LCCs.

I'm flying them in September, ORY-BUD and BUD-FCO. They seem to get fairly good reviews from those who have used them. Since they are based in BUD, I feel fairly comfortable about not getting stuck -- they've got to have a spare plane or two hanging around in case of trouble. :)

I believe the 50% off is on their part of the total price. The taxes and fees probably remain the same so the overall net saving is probably more like the 33% you report. Still, much better than nothing.

Suspect that would be about right after you pay all of the taxes on a (relatively) low fare. Lot of the fees are fixed, so the lower fare won't necessarily yield lower taxes :(
