Middle East = from Beirut to Bahrain generally speaking :)

Regional = GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council Member states) Arabian/Persian Gulf

A little bit more off-topic. I also get sick of the website. Why is it that I always have to type in my number and password twice (once on main screen) and once on second screen? I have not once ever been brought directly to my account.... :(

If you indeed have genuine issues please use yr fingers by writing to GF they are great at responding.

FYI a few points;

1. As GF have BY FAR the best regional services/connections and until recently operated out of 3 hubs not 1 like all their competitors things do become delayed. This should be resolved somehwhat with a new two hub strategy.

2. As for the website GF have recently had a leading and senior EK Website developer jump ship and come work for GF to make their website world class. He will head the IT department.

3. As far as quality goes I would to remind all the the GF CEO was recently chosen alongside the BA and Swiss Chairmen to talk about quality at a debate to be held by the IATA where they will be asked their reasoning for their quality in service and safety(I dont have full details as yet)

Im sure the above points should go some way in putting some logic and reasoning to your vaild issues.

PS NO airline is perfect or ever will be. EK was 5 stars its now 4...I'm sure Qatar will follow suit in the distant future...'peaks and depressions' thats what life is generally about ;) GF was once THE airline in the region...it's now climbing back. It had too many owners and too many fingers in it's 'pot'.

If you want a job done right or an airline run properly just ask an Aussie :D

Before you (each) get into a heated debate or personal attack, can everyone take a few breaths? Thank you for explaining your comments, at least your negative thoughts are clear - and thank you CJ for your news on the seats etc over the past six months.

Just because someone is a fan of an airline, doesn't make them an employee, and I think that a few people here have actually provided some really useful info. I think there are some really helpful people on various forums and CJ is one of these in this forum.

So thanks to everyone with their helpful advice and comments to date, especially on problems and their resolution - as I'd like to be up-to-date with the service and product flying out of SYD.

Can we see some more news in this forum, or questions, not of a personal nature? Thanks! ;)

Your response(read attack) is not at all appreciated and adds negative overtones to the forum. If you indeed have issues with me please write to me directly or ask for moderator assistance.

Also please refrain from classless and basless "ahems" and "again" conotations. I would hope the moderators would have somethng to say about this as abusing other participants entries and the quality of the same is totally unspirited - considering in this case the information is all factual??
