Any idea what is the minimum bid for a HongKong Tsim Sha Tsui area
5 * hotel and what to expect
4 * hotel and what to expect
Singapore Ochard road area
5 * hotel and what to expect
4 * hotel and what to expect
date of travel is mid July
I've never bid more than $95 for the Sheraton (5* in TST), but biddingfortravel.com now lists recent bids at $114. Never tried 4*. Good luck!

The Sheraton I can book here with MWR ( Meiers Weltreisen ) for 112 Euro ( 139 USD ) per room per night incl. tax/fees, but without ABF ! On this rate Iīll get 8%, which ends me up with around 128 USD !
Holliday Inn I have a net rate of around 90 USD but there are also 4* hotels much cheaper alias Habour Plaza Metropolis and Kimberly for around 75 USD
my bids 85 $ 5* and 52$ 4* have not been accepted. But with the taxes/fees thatīs also 101 $ for the 5 * and 60 $ for the 4 *.
And the next worse thing is, all brokers offer only hotel without ABF ! But 180-250 HK$ ( 23 - 32 USD per person ) one pays easyly for ABF !!! Thatīs 50 % of the roomcosts if you calculate ABF for 2pax with around 50 USD!
The Sheraton Towers Singapore I get here for 135 USD, but incl. ABF for 2 Pax.

start really really low as I believe that you can autmatically rebid on PLHK and PLSG by raising your bid nominally ($500HK iirc and similar for SG)

I booked the Royal Pacific Towers at 79 USD per room per night incl. taxes and fees. Thatīs a 4* near to Nathan.
In SIN I tried also priceline 5*
Orchard and Marina for 70 USD++ would be 85 USD incl. fees, but this offer was also not accepted. Any help what is the right bid here.
I would get Le Meridien Orchad for 109 USD incl. taxes/fees and ABF for 2 pax. fixed booked here.
I think I will end up already higher with the 70/85 from priceline, as ABF is also minimum 15 USD per pax, or not.
started new threat 4* Orchid 48++ USD rejected, 4* Orchid and Marina 52++USD also rejected.

I agree with chobby100, only want to add that the minimum amount to raise your bid with in HK$50 (about 5), not HK$500.
Start low and rebid with HK$50 increments, that way you'll end up very close the chepaest price available.

I think one get cheaper offers, booked with internet cosalidators, than with priceline. Often the clients don`t see the taxes/fees and the missing ABF, which is often includet in other offers.

While not in the TST area, the Le Meridien Cyberport is on the Starwood C&P list for this entire year.
