Has anyone tried the RSS feed? I read the file but I am not exactly sure where to get the software required?
Yeah, I was curious what that was, so clicked on it. It said to put the link into my RSS reader, whatever that is, and then my Firefox (which is the browser I was using) told me it was equipped with the reader already. So I have the reader, and I have the link, but I don't know what to do with the two, because I can't find where the reader is.

Opera handles the RSS feeds like a charm. I'm subscribed :)

I signed up for Google reader using my own yahoo e-mail address, and it works fine. www.google.com/reader (i believe). It's a great way to stay current with Starwood offers. ^

Personalized Google Homepage is a great way to read RSS files. That's also how I keep up on Flyertalk sometimes. :)

hmmm...maybe not if this is the only site you frequent, not sure anyone but you knows the answer to your question. But RSS certainly can be a useful way to catch up on a site with a mixture of old and new content.

Just signed up using the google connection above.....however, it seems to have a lot of other travel promotions in it, more than simply SPG---this one is named "flyertalk" but that is the link above.
Perhaps there is another link only for SPG???

OK, looks like I have it now....First I had the google "flyertalk" forum which has lots of postings, however if you enter the RSS feed as SPG has at the bottom of its home page, you will get the SPG RSS feed.
Is it worth it? Probably not, all I can see are a ton of promotions which most of which are limited to specific properties, etc and most are readily available on other sites. I see no magic to this site, no hidden reduced price deals, lots of free breakfasts and promotion of new properties esp vacation destinations abroad!
