Asia - AirAsia From Bkk to MacauView Full Version : AirAsia From Bkk to Macau yan19454 Jun 6, 06, 7:32 pm I made reservation from AirAsia . I do not whether they are reliable. I plan to make the reservation for Macau hotel stay using priceline. Thanks. Michael Jun 7, 06, 6:55 am I have flown AirAsia from BKK to Phnom Penh several times, though never to Macau. Still, I have never had any problems -- though YMMV, of course. Michael donovan1313 Jun 7, 06, 7:52 am I've flown AirAsia twice domestically - BKK to HKT and Surat Thani to BKK. On time and very efficient. They are very much like Southwest in the US. Once I'm settled here in BKK, I can envision flying them internationally. CPHBob Jun 7, 06, 8:28 am Hello! Ive used them last year BKK-KUL-DPS return. I found them reliable enough for a LCC, even though i had a delay of 2 hours on the KUL-DPS leg, rest of flights were on time! For the record i have booked 2 BKK-BKI return tickets this summer! party_boy Jun 7, 06, 8:52 am Air Asia isn't a bad airline. They do value their cargo revenue quite a bit, so be aware when booking connecting flights and activities that an hour or two delay are common. I've found that their afternoon flights tended to be delayed more than their AM flights. Enjoy your trip. Bogey90 Jun 7, 06, 9:20 pm I've flown AirAsia a few times, including a Macau-BKK roundtrip. I have been very happy with AirAsia, but one flight was delayed about an hour. BangkokTraveler Jun 11, 06, 12:01 pm Air Asia is OK, and a very good, money-saving option to get to Macau. They enforce their checked-baggage restrictions (number and weight) very, very strictly. All beverages on the flight sold, nothing is free. |
