That puts a different slant on things, because it means I can look at some fares for you:

Outbound Leg:
US4219 - JFK-PHL
US42 - PHL-AMS

Inbound Leg:
UA947 - AMS-IAD
UA7637 - IAD-LGA

At the moment, ITA is showing it as $637.80 with Oct 1 - Oct 30 as the dates. If you can give us some specific dates we can do some more tweaking.

sorry for the lack of information it is a "rookie mistake"
i am flying from new york city (any 3 major airport) it can be any day in september,october or early november, the time does not matter and i will accept more than one stop. thanks

i'd always prefer a nonstop than risking a change of planes

even for a few dollars more

just look for sale fares as we get closer - maybe even labor day!

and fares often drop after nov.1

(i mean for travel after nov.1 so you may find a promo in october)

keep looking at orbitz- and remember to add in taxes and fees

if you do want to make a stop, BA often has winter deals

or check in the Village Voice- there are some skeevy agencies out there with "deals" - ok it may be in naira or quetzals but it will be cheap!!
