Japan - How do I get from NRT to Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
I arrive into NRT at approximately noon time for a direct flight out of JFK. After flying from JFK to NRT I’m looking for the quickest and easiest way to get to 2-1-1 Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
I don’t speak a word of Japanese, will be traveling alone and I want something that will be simple and easy. Any suggestions?

You mean the Mandarin Oriental Hotel?
The easiest way:
There's a direct limobus from Narita Airport starting at 2:15pm (14:15)
http://www.limousinebus.co.jp/e/timetable/narita/tokyost_hujiya_h.html
If not, I would Narita Express train to Tokyo Station, and take a taxi to the hotel.
You can make a few subway connections or walk from Kanda Station after switcing trains at Tokyo Station, but I wouldn't say its the simple way:

Yep; the mandarin.
What about cabs/airport car services?

As mentioned in our sticky thread:
Never take a cab from Narita Airport to Central Tokyo.
Our number 1 rule (or least one of them, here on the Japan forum)
The cost will set you back a few hundred dollars.
The airport bus is a pretty comfortable ride direct and will drop you off right at the hotel.
The Narita Express is comfortable as well to Tokyo Station.
Remember, Narita Airport is not near Central Tokyo, its about 1hr by the fastest available train, and about 80-90 minutes by bus.
Alternately, another rail option would be taking the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport to Keisei Ueno Station, at Keisei Ueno change to the Subway Ginza Line (at Ueno Station) to Mitsukoshimae Station, the Hotel is right there.
Those are pretty easy comfortable ways to get there. There are some cheaper routes that you can take which requires taking regular commuter trains, ie. the JR Rapid or Keisei Limited Express as substitutes for the Narita Express or Keisei Skyliner.

did the other posters consider that if someone can afford to stay at the MO perhaps he (or his expense account) doesn't flinch at a $450 limo ride arranged by the MO?
just email the concierge and have them arrange to meet you and drive you in chauffeured luxury right to your door
no i would not take a $250. cab after a 14 hour flite- you will be squinched
but, for $30 the limo bus is fast easy relatively comfortable- and with no schlepping of luggage like on the train and no risk of a confusing connection

Because of the nature of Flyertalk, there are many reasons why I usually don't take this into consideration when answering questions.

:)
I think the $450 that the MO charges is a bit outrageous; perhaps someone else has used a different car service. No big deal; thanks guys.
Narita Express to Tokyo Station (1hr) - then exit Tokyo Station and get in a cab to the MO.
(If you can handle a hike across to the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station, you might save a couple of dollars cab fare - but if you don't like dragging the suitcase through crowds, then just leave the station at the closest exit - which is Marunouchi side).
If I had more money... I'd still take the train into central Tokyo, since it's a virtually guaranteed 60 minute journey time. (You can opt for the green car if you want more comfort).
Fixed fare taxis from Narita Airport to central Tokyo do exist. The fare to the MO will be 17,000yen. It will take longer than the train - but you will be spared the ordeal of sitting with the likes of me....

Airport Limo Bus is the way to go, door to door for under $30 and no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes on a very comfortable bus.
Train? Maybe quicker to city central but than you will need to taxi, so about the same time total but more hassles as you will need to connect from the train to the taxi and about the same or possibly more $.
Private car or taxi? only if you can afford it.......
Have a great trip!

Train + taxi should be 15 mins quicker than best case scenario for the bus.
But yes it will cost maybe 1000yen more in total. (My estimate).
IMHO Train is more comfortable - especially in Green Car. YMMV.
A quick browse through this forum will show that there is no such thing as "The way to go" - it's different strokes for different fools... I mean folks.

i have to reiterate the luggage problem
the limo bus takes your bag and returns it to you at your destination
trying to negotiate tokyo station -even if you know where you are going- with luggage can be daunting- not everywhere is escalators- lots of stairs too (worse if you are then trying to connect to the subway)
but just another alternative- take any limo bus that is going to TCAT and then take a taxi- so you don't have to wait for a departure to your particular hotel area
(make sure you have a printout of your hotel name and address in japanese)
the limo bus ticket counter can explain the time waits to you
Edgewood - You are right about travellers with huge luggage / fear of busy stations.
- not everywhere is escalators- lots of stairs too
The trip from the N'EX platform to the exit of Tokyo station is all escalators (or elevators). And the escalators are not hard to find.

For the OP's hotel (which is 5 mins cab ride from Tokyo station and 15+ mins cab ride from Hakozaki TCAT), the bus to TCAT is not a good option - IMHO.

i defer to you since you are a local-
but what i was trying to point out is that if you are out of customs at 12:30 why wait for a 2:15 limo bus when there's one about every 10 minutes to TCAT
of course, if it makes stops on the way, forget what i just said, take the train

I can echo not taking a cab. My last time to Tokyo I overdid it on the champagne (only person in CX F... oops!) and that combined with a slight sinus infection I had at the time added to a 2 hour immigration wait made for one very unhappy camper once I got landside. I JUST missed the bus... bought a ticket for the next one, waited about 10 minutes, said F... this and got in a cab. The ride took about 75 minutes (traffic wasn't too bad), and cost $185 to the hotel. I did take the bus on the way back though. :D I don't see why you'd say the cabs are cramped though? I didn't find it uncomfortable at all although I'm only 5'7".

The OP may not be aware that the airport bus is not like the city buses that he knows. It's comfortable and air-conditioned with comfortable seats, even for a tall gaijin like me.

i am over six foot, over 2xxlbs (i can't admit to writing that)
and take up a 4-seat yurikamome seat compartment by myself
i feel i am twice the size of most japanese, and am very cramped in cabs
Sitting in C on NH; due to land in a couple of hours. I'm going to go the train route (I assume ill clear customs around ~4 as I now land at 330) so rush hour traffic probably wont be too nice.
